Nirmala Public School Wins State-Level Science Fair
Nirmala Public School, Erumely, has brought laurels to the district by winning the first prize at the Kerala State Science Fair held in Thiruvananthapuram. The team of five students, led by class 10 student Ananya Raj, presented a project titled "Harnessing Solar Energy for Rural Households." The project focused on creating affordable solar-powered devices for low-income families. Principal Sister Mary Joseph expressed her pride in the students' achievements and thanked the teachers for their guidance. The school plans to implement the project in nearby villages as part of its community outreach program.
